I love all your books Lauren ! I am a huge fan! Happy writing ! I love your site and your myspace page and thatnk you for adding me !
Thanks for a great read. Amber was my first of yours and am ready to read the others. Great job!
Keep up the writing and bless you and yours. Kirsten
Your characters just jump out of the book. I enjoy reading your stories so much because they take me out this time and briefly place me in another. I've always enoyed reading your books and "The Art of Temptation" is no eception. I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Merry Christmas, to one of my favorite authors - who also has fine taste in music, a la DA!
The Art of Temptation is by far your best book. Please keeping writing... your books are wonderful. I have passed them to my sister and now she is a devotee.
Wishing you and your family (and of course, Mocha) a wonderful holiday and best New Year.
Happy Holidays!!!
Just finished reading "Rose". How delightful! The historical parts are what intrigue me. Keep writing. We all love you.
Just finished your book Emerald from a few years back, thoroughly enjoyed it and will diffently look for more of your books. Hated for it to end. Thank you so much for you delightful writing. ciao
Lauren,
I "discovered" your Jewel trilogy about 2 weeks ago and loved all 3 of the books! I went back to my 2nd hand bookstore that I frequent often and found Lily and Rose. The owner says your books hardly ever come in because they're "keepers"!!
Thanks for providing a great read and gread stories.
LOVE LOVE LOVE your books. i first found you in the anthology in praise of younger men and have been hooked on your books since. can't wait for the last in the temptation series and whatever else you have up your sleeve. keep creating magic.
Hi; just read my first Lauren Royal book, "Tempting Juliana", and have printed out the list to haunt the bookstore with. Can't wait to read her sisters' stories, and the other trilogies as well. Any other seniors out there? I'm 65, and love romances and the Gilmore Girls. I really like the more "liberated" of the heroines!
Just wanted to wish you A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Merry Christmas
i love all your books are you writting another one
Hello Ms. Royal,
It was a pleasure visiting your website. I just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed reading your books. This is only my second book that I've read but they are truly fantastic. (Lost in Temptation and Tempting Julianna) I can't wait to hear Corrina's story. Thank you again. You are becoming another of my favorite authors. Congratulations on your success.
Thanks for listening.
Frances
Had the pleasure of meeting Lauren at the Celtic Festival in Tucson this weekend. Was a delightful visit. Books are new to me so look forward to reading them all.
Hi there lauren..
I really love your books esp. Rose its so romantic makes my heart melts.. really hopes to reads Lily & Viloet but unfortunately they're out of stock in Malaysia..can u help me how to order it anywhere..? thanks...
I can never put a great book down unless I'm through reading it. Already, I'm a fan and cannot wait for more. Your books are pure entertainment, motivating and makes me look at science another way.
I have read both triolgies and I LOVE THEM you are truly a wonderful writer I read both in a week.
Lauren, I am an Historical romance nut! I love the way you write and want to read all of your books, if I could just find the time. And your site here is fun and so creative, especially with the recipes. I copied them all out so I could try them. Keep up the wonderful work please!
You can have whatever kind of cover you like -- I just LOVE the way you write!
Peace
Your site is very lucky for me!
I looked at your new cover and I'm sorry to say it's not for me.
I love all your previous covers. This one seems odd. The guy's body is beautiful, but he looks like he's wearing large cuffs with no shirt. Also, the arm holding out a rose seems so posed. Please go back to your previous style of cover.
Whatever the cover, I'm sure I'll love the book.
I just finished reading Lost In Temptation and all I have to say is:
WOW
I just read Lily, and I thought it was a great book. I think it's really cool how the flower triolgy tells the story of each sister. That is a different direction than most romance writers take. I can't wait to read the other two stories in the trilogy.
I really enjoyed "Lily". Of course now I have to read all of your books$$$$
Lauren, Just read your book "Lily", as usual with me, it is out of sequence but that never bothers me. Have not read any of your books before but am delighted to find another author I enjoy. Am happy that I will be able to "attend" the wedding of Rand and Lily, and then anticipate the husband you find for Rose. Your story was written well, with much humor and wonderfully detailed descriptions! I wish you much continued success. God Bless Sharon Mitts
I just finished reading my 1st Lauren Royal book "Rose". Loved it!! The writing flowed and the characters came to life. It's not often you get to read a story like that. Thanks Lauren!
Lost in Temptation: I LOVED it!!! I love to bake and I will try some of these recipes.
Peace
Lauren, you're a wonderful author and great person.
I loved and enjoyed the jewel and flower trilogies immensly and told everyone I knew how great they wee. I cannot wait for Lost in Temptation. Thank you Lauren for all the great reads.
Carol
I have read the Jewel trilogy and am currently reading Rose in the Flower trilogy. I have loved all the books. They are interesting and exciting. Can't wait to read Lost in Temptation!
I got hooked on the Jewel Trilogy, I am now reading "Rose", the last of the Flower Trilogy, and I'm expecting to find "Lost in Temptation" in my christmas stocking. I love traveling back in time when I read your novels.
I haven't read any of Lauren's books yet. I just put them all on my list of books to read so as soon as I get some of them read I will let you know what I think of them. Even though I haven't read them yet. I can wait to get started they sound like some really good books. I am addicted to reading and read anywhere from 25-40 books a month. I read so much I had to start a binder of all the books I have read so far by what authors.
I have read Emerald twice. It was such great reading I had a difficult time putting it down to get any work done.
Thanks
I am not a big reader, in fact I am not a reader at all. I have a busy life and a strict routine to stick to, growing into strong family morals. I have recently landed a wonderful job that has a lot of time on my hands, "to get things done" I love love love the book VIOLET. And all though that is the only book I have read, I have ordered Lauren's whole flower trilogy and gem trilogy.
Not wanting to get to personal- this book - Violet- has really spiced up the busy life style, if you know what I mean :)
I wasnt even done with the book and didn't want it to ever end!Wanting it to keep going and going!
Have you ever thought about making a movie out of one of this Trilogies? Man, that would be awesome!!
I just read Lost in Temptation and it was great. I can't wait for the next book to come out. Rachel :)
Hi Lauren! Just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I recently finished reading Lost In Temptation and I LOVED it! I can't wait for the next one to come out! I look forward to reading your stuff for a long time to come.
Jimmie
Great books, great website!
I stumbled apon Lost in Temptation at my local library and couldn't put it down. Since then I've tracked down your Flower Trilogy and Jewel Trilogy novels and loved everyone of them. I especially appreciated how you tied the two together with Ford Chase! I can't wait to read the rest of your Temptation Trilogy! Thank you!!!!

Wow! I trully love your book. But sadly i only read Rose from your flower trilogy and Amber from your jewel trilogy. Now im waiting to buy every book you have written in the bookstore near me, so wish me luck!
I read Lost in Temptation a few days ago and I liked it very much. Since I love to cook and to try new recipes I was interested in the recipes that were included in the book. As I read I wondered how they would translate into present day cooking and was pleased to learn that you had included thm in your web site. I did find one mistake. You left out the amount of flour needed in the recipe for Corianders Biscuits!
I may try one or more of the recipes one of these days.
I visted England a few years ago and loved it. I think it is very nice that you use real places as the inspiration for the estates or castles in your books. Have you ever used Leeds Castle? I visted there and loved it.
I just finished reading, Lost In Temptation. It was very well written. I liked the history you put in your books. I also enjoyed the humor. I will be reading more of your books. Keep up the great work and thank you for taking us places we might not other wise get to go. God Bless!
I have read both the Flower Trilogy
and Jewel Trilogy, and truly enjoyed them, I and am looking
forword to reading your new Trilogy.
I was wondering if you have considered putting them on Audiobook Or CD?
Thanks for the hours of entertainment.
JoAnne

Your new site looks great - your son did a great job! I can't wait to read Lost in Temptation!!!

I am so impressed with the detail put into these stories. I have read Amethyst and Emerald and I was engrossed with not only the history but the characters. I hate to see the book come to an end. I get so attached to these people. It was very interesting to be able to see the pictures of the castles and the historical figures present in the story. I greatly appreciate your work and I am very excited about reading all the others. Thanks for what you have given.
Your books are great, please please please keep writing!! I look forward to your next pieces of work.
Take care.

I am so impressed w/yr website!! I've been to quite a few and yours is so well organized and has many many interesting things to explore. Readers, as you know, get so so involved with the characters and using yr website makes that magic last longer! I love the recipes and yr notes after each. Its French Toast Saturday morning for my family. I originally signed on for the recipes and to read more about the lovely places yr characters go. I am planning a trip to England with my husband and I love reading about historical places, especially in UK/Europe. I'm waiting for Rowan's story!! He's a cutie already! Thanks for doing a great job; its a pleasure to read yr books! :]

I was surprised when I read that you also liked " A Knight In Shinning Armor" by Jude Deveraux, I have bought many copies and have given them to friends and family to read, it was a great book!
I have read all of your books and read them back to back. Are you going to write a book to update Violet, Lily and Rose along with the Dash brothers to fill us in what they are doing and how their families are doing.
I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought both series at once, read them in order one right after another, (like reading one continous story).
Sure glad I did. Great Job!

Every time I start one of your novels I am captivated from start to finish. I think your novels are so great because they are many things in one: history, romance, humour etc. I hope you continue to write many more books! Take care.

I have just recently found your books, and have TOTALLY enjoyed both Amethyst and Emerald! You draw characters and times that make me laugh and truly believe. Just so you know, I read both of those as e-books on my PDA, and BOY do I like being able to do that! (It's so nice to be able to take 10 books with on vacation!) I really enjoy knowing more about the research you've done and all the historical characters with which you lace your stories. I'm looking forward to LOTS more! Thx a lot - I'm glad I found you!!
Most sincerely,
Ann Lauer

Hello There: I am from Canada...hope you appreciate your Canadian fans. I am currently reading 'Violet' and I absolutely love it...makes me laugh. Can't wait to start reading 'Lilly'. I am a voracious reader of historical romance novels and you are one of my favourite authors. Keep up the good work!! Bibi
I just finished reading Amber and I had to come here and look at your website. Your novel was funny and sexy all at the same time and it has made me yearn for Scotland even more. I want to go and get the other two and read about Colin and Jason. Thank you so much for writing these books and for having this website.
I read all three books in 5 days I just can't put them down. Waiting to read voilet.
Love your books!
I just finished reading (and very much enjoyed) Amber. Question: Were the descriptions concerning the wake festivities in Scotland authentic? I was particularly interested in the part where the recently deceased was propped up and people threw turnips to hit the pipe that had been placed in his mouth. Also the incident where Trick's mother's body was made to move in a effort to scare onlookers was treated as something that was not out of the ordinary. In your research, did you find that things like that really happened? What a hoot! Just when you think you've got it figured out, cultures will turn around and bite you in the you-know-what.
Lauren you are wonderful writer, I enjoy reading your books.

I have been reading historical romance books for 24 years. Every author has her own twist and style. I really injoyed your book and the characters. I just finished reading "Amber" and loved it! I've been to Scotland and the Firth of Forth several times, but never knew about the lost treasure. What an interesting book!

You are a talented writer..And I truly loved your books.
I just wanted to tell you that I got Amber from our Library and then realized it was a trilogy. It was great! I have purchased all 3 from B&N and can't wait to read about the brothers. Of course now I will have to read Violet to see how Ford's life will change. Thanks for the wonderful reading. Sandy P.S. My daughter's name is Amber.
All I can say is what a wonderful romance auther you are.The only dissapointment was when it was over,I wanted more. Now after visiting your website I can't wait to get my hands on more of your books.
Dear Lauren, Love your books...Best wishes for your continued success and keep those books coming!
Thank you for that wonderful Jewel trilogy. It is had to say which one was my favorite. Yet Amber stands out the most.
P.S. Sorry, that first one was the wrong address.

I just finished your book Emerald. I could not put it down. Now I am sleep deprived but richer for the read. I was thrilled to find you had a website and I will be trying some of the recipes. Thanks.
It was a joy to meet you at CR2002. Before you were just an author, now I feel like I have 2 friends that are authors, you and Glynnis. Hope to see you soon.

Lauren, I have just finished Amethyst. All I can say is WOW! You really know how to write a great romance novel. Can't wait to read about Lord Jason (Emerald) and Lady Kendra (Amber). I echo the thought of taking up Jewel's story as well, maybe with an added update of Lady and Lord Greystone (Amy and Colin) You have a new fan, and I hope friend, here in Central Ohio.
My Dear, Darling, Beautiful, Wonderful, Talented Daughter,
There are truly no words to say how very proud I am of you and your accomplishments. I sincerely love ALL of your fabulous books and I am not saying that just because I am your Mother....in addition to being your "Head Cheerleader!"
Hope my remarks don't embarrass you as they did when you were a child!! :-)
My Love Always, Mom
I just read FOREVERMORE!!! What a terrific story. I have always said, age is just a number. This story proved that older isn't always wiser. Thank you for a great read. I look forward to more in the future.
A truly devoted fan, Robin
Having worked in quality control in electronics, I love quality in various forms and I concede that you are into the quality of writing. I loved both your AMETHYST and EMERALD stories. I discovered one of your novels in our Public Library and I am definitely collecting your books now. I appreciate the historical facts sited and the refreshing anecdotes, the humor and the spinning of the tales of the almost real characters. I look forward to reading AMBER. Keep the stories coming - I am hooked.
Lori G.
"Forevermore"(In Paise of Younger Men), is the first Lauren Royal book I have read. Now I have to find the previos books that lead up to this story, and will watch the bookshelves for future Lauren Royal books.
I enjoyed reading the Emerald. I like stories that don't have a lot of swearing words in them. It is nice to read books that have few swearing words. Hope to read Amber.
Im always looking for a good romance book, I probably read 2-3 a month, Emerald was a great story im looking forward to In praise of younger men since I have read books from all authors keep up the grear stories
Girlfriend....you've got it going on! The books, the website, the talent....keep up the fabulous work and I can't wait to read about "the garden salad"...you know who I mean! (smiles)
Carol (your elf from Pikesville)
lauren, in emerald i enjoyed the characters being so human.
I read "Emerald" a few months ago, and was finally able to find "Amethyst" by special order at my bookstore. I was so thrilled to start it! I finished it in about two and a half days, reading the last half all in one evening, I just had to finish it before I went to bed. Absolutely brilliant! Reading the "Ask Lauren" section of your website, I saw that if we wanted to read a story about Ford, we should write and say so. SO!!! I think it would be priceless to read about how Ford's logical mind gives over to his heart, given the right persuasion by an intelligent, enchanting girl, of course!
Very anxiously awaiting the release of "Amber", Angela Terhark Duluth, MN
P.S. My next trip to England will definitely include stops at the inspirations for castles found in "Amethyst"!
Hi Lauren! I just love your books! Your characters seem so real, that by the end of their story, you feel like you really know them! I really hope we see a story for Ford.
I loved your first two books and can't wait for Amber to come out.
Hi Lauren, I have really enjoyed your book Emerald. Books are considered my lunch time companions and I read about 1 a week at my 1/2 hour lunch break. My main interest in books is Historical Romance. This subject has enjoyment plus getting more education without really working at it. Your Book Has Topped all the books I have read with many different authors. What sold it is how realistic the reading is. You are great at making the reader feel apart of the adventure. Then the best is to find almost all your facts are true and not changed much to fit your story like alot of other authors. Now coming to see your website and see the pictures of thhe places and people have just sold me to collect All of your books. I really thank you for the work and effort you have done with your writing, it is to me well worth it all!
Your Loyal Fan, Peg
Hello Lauren, I came across your book Emerald at the book store and purchased it because of the title and your short Biography(I am a gemologist and have been in the jewelry business for 17 years)As you can probably relate, by working retail I don't have much time to read. I injured my back and the Doctor put me on bed rest. I remembered that I hadn't read your book yet and was excited that I could finally have time to read it. I was disappointed to find out(at first) that it was the second book in a trilogy. I couldn't read Emerald before I read the first book Amythest. I sent my husband out to find your first book. He had to special order it for me. Well it finally arrived and I read both books in one day. You really do have a gift for writing. I am glad you are pursuing it. I am disspointed that I have to wait until August for Amber. If you release the book earlier let me know. Thank you and good luck with your new career.
ew the Scotch collops recipe: In the 17th C., "claret" was the generic term for red wine. Now it's generally used for Bordeaux (which in fact much 17th C. red wine in England was). And incidentally, I have a 17th C recipe that used mashed potators. It's delicious, but no space for it here.
Congratulations Lauren on Amethyst and Emerald. I love Historical novels especially about the U.K. -maybe because I was born and raised there. I look forward to completing the trilogy when Amber becomes available.
Hi! I read your book Emerald and I really like it I also Hve read the excerpts from Ameythyst and Amber and am eager to fingthose two books in store. I really like your writing.
-Priyanka
I am addicted to reading historical romance novels. I read about 2 per week. I picked up Amethyst at a Bargain book store and LOVED it. I told my husband that I really liked Lauren Royals writing after I finished Amethyst which was in November 2000. I
Hi Lori!!! Congratulations on your new book(s)! We always look forward to hearing your fantastic news (and rave reviews) from Ken!
Love, Kimberly Goolsby
I just wanted to say that I just finished reading Emerald, and I loved it!!! I always enjoy finding a good book that I just can't put down until it is done. I look forward to the next one.

Good Morning I'm intersted in publishing two manuscripts that I have written. Can you tell me about your experiance with Signet books. Would you recommend them? How do I go about contacting them? Thank You.
Welcome to my keeper shelf! I finished reading Amethyst last night, and headed off to B&N first thing in the morning, because I couldn't wait a whole afternoon for Emerald. Now I'll be jumpy until Kendra's book comes out Finally, a return to the sweeping, gorgeous Restoration romances I fell in love with years ago! Any chance reader begging can continue the Chase family story beyond just a trilogy? I would love to see Ford's story, and Jewel's, and...do you see a pattern here? These books are a great inspiration to aspiring writers.
Just finished Amethyst and loved it. Looking forwrd to reading Emerald. The characters are so life like and you get swept up in their lives.
I loved reading Amethyst and Emerald, and cannot wait to read Amber. Unfortunately, I was spoiled with the first two in that I worked for a paperback printing company and we would get the unedited copies months before they came out. Now I have to wait forever to read the rest of Amber! )
Hello there. We met at the Romantic Times Convention in Houston. My mother accompanied me and we had a wonderful time. We will be there next year and will probably meet again. Good wishes to you.

I wandered the bookstore for almost an hour, indecisive and bored. Most days, books scream at me from the shelves - but not this one. I nearly left without a purchase, when Emerald caught my eye on an endcap. I've grown bored with romances - reading the same old story, and blah there's such a wash of mediocre writers out there, I read with an overly critical eye. What a WONDERFUL surprise your novel was. I am so glad to have discovered you. Keep writing. Such playful characters, innovative plot lines, and tummy-tingling moments are hard to find!
Hi Lauren! I read "Emerald" in two days and really enjoyed your work. I thought the characters were superb and very well-rounded. I was wanting to know when you might write a story ocurring Cameron, Cait's cousin. Also, just a small request, please keep us updated on Jase and Cait throughout your writing. Thanks and good luck in the future.
I love your book Amethyst. I could not put it down. I read it in two days and now I'm going to get your other book. You are an amazing romance writer. Truly a God given talent. You make the story so real like the person reading it is actually going through the story as a bystander. I hope you keep writing because I will keep reading.
Lauren, we met at the houston bookfair. Just dropped this note, to tell you how much I enjoyed it. I tryed to get on your e-mail letters but the rest of the page was empty.
thanks janice
I just finished reading "Emerald", and it was outstanding!!! There is so much I loved about it, but I'll try to remember. i loved the fact that caithren didn't get away with her man disguise- I hate it that a heroine can look like a boy one minute, then have a curvy figure and overflowing breasts the next. I also loved that I didn't really know what was going to happen at the end, like how Jason and Caithren were truly bound to their homeland, yet torn from it, because of their love. These are real feelings-being pulled in two directions. I did, however, guess correctly about Adam right away, but maybe I've just read too many romance novels. I can't wait to read the others in this series; this is the first book of yours I've read. And that was the steamiest, most interesting and imaginitive love scene I have ever read. Wow. So incredibly creative. And the fact that you write that you've actully been to the places you're writing about...!!! I lived in england for nine months on a study abroad programme, a
hi! my friend Tiffany Royal says that you are her aunt! r u really? i sit next to her in class we go to Patton School! just wanted to drop by!
I loved reading Emerald!! You absolutely made the characters and the North Road come to life right out of the pages. I would love to write someday, but like you, I would want to travel and learn about the people and places because it shows in the finished product!!! Thanks for such a treat!!
I've just finished reading your book Amethyst and absolutely loved it. I can't wait to go home and read the other book Emerald. I understand that Kendra's story does not come out until August of 2001. It seems so long after these 2 books. Will Ford get a happy ending with a lady. I guess I'll see. I'm about to start reading the second book and am very much looking forward to it. Thank you very much. I've been reading historical romances since I was 14 and am now 22. After the years it seemed that the books were not quite catching my attention interesting storylines. I've really enjoyed yours.
I've just read your 2 books, Amethyst, Emerald and adore both books. I can not wait for Kendra's story. In the future, will you be writing a story about Jewel, Amy and Colin's daughter? I would really enjoy her story. Thank you for many hours of reading pleasure.
Lauren I just finished reading Amethyst. I'm looking forward to the other two of the trilogy. But I was wondering what about Ford. You've wrote books about the others what about him?
Lauren, what wonderful novels you have written. I feel in love with Colin and Amethyst; and now Jason and Caithren. I am so looking forward to the next book Amber. The period of time you write about is one of my favorite timelines. Thank you for your entusiasm in bringing the past to life. God Bless!
I am eagerly anticipating the release of Emerald. I loved Amethyst and can't wait to see the story unfold further. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us, the readers.

Works fine on my mac.... :)
I loved Amethyst, and am eagerly awaiting Emerald, the second book in the trilogy. I know it will be an exciting read!! I love your web page---Hi Lori!!!
Interesting reading your excerpt from the book. I discovered your books thru Romantic Times.
I really love your website. I printed off the recipes and look forward to trying them (well, at least some of them)! Great contest, too!
I met you at the RWA literacy autographing. There was such a crowd around your table that I didn't get a chance to look at your books, but luckily you gave me a couple of bookmarks. I haven't read anything yeet, but I'm working in that direction. I'm going to start with Emerald and Amethyst or does another book come before them. I like to read things in order if I can. I am also writing and decided to join RWA and can't wait until next years conference.
Hi Lauren! I must say you are a very talented writer. I have just finished AMETHYST and found I had to postpone everything I had to do the day I was reading it because I simply could not put down the book. You are a fabulous writer and I wish to say Good Luck and Congratulations on your work now and to come! I cannot wait until EMERALD is published!
Hello, I am really glad I finally found your site, I have been eagerly waiting for "Emerald", and was pleased to see I'll not have long to wait. You are a great writer and I loved "Amethyst". Thank you for doing what you do and keeping us enthralled.

Hi Lori! I actually tried to email you about 3 weeks ago when I got your book but I couldn't get in--my mistake, I'm sure. I'm glad I'm here. I haven't started reading yet but am excited to get your book. Congratulations! Can I ask you to sign it before Austin and I move (end of the month)? I might bring it backpacking this weekend but then I'll get a new one for you to sign so...hope to see you soon. I saw you and Jack at the Music concert but didn't see you then afterward. Bye!
Diane
I very much enjoyed reading Amethyst and I can't wait to read Emerald.
Hi, Lori! Great site!
Brenda Novak
Well, curses! I was hoping I'd just sort of slide into that Best First Book category with no competition. :) Looks like I'll have to fight tooth and nail. Your book is fabulous, Lauren, so full of vivid imagery and rich detail, and your website should serve as a model for others . . . Thank you, also, for your generous help and support in this shared adventure.

I'll be purchasing your novel tomorrow. The excerpt intrigued me. Thanks!
I just finished AMETHYST last night and I have to say, I was right!!! It was definitely like opening a window to the past. You made so much of history come to life. I wish they had had books like yours in history class when I was in school; it would have make it alot more interesting to go to class. I look forward to reading EMERALD as soon as it hits the bookshelves. Congratulations on AMETHYST and all your future endeavors.
Robin
Hi Lauren, I'm only half way thru your first book but, I'm already excited about the second. I'll let you know how much more I truly enjoyed AMETHYST after I'm done. I have a feeling you will be one of the authors that I just have to have all of your work. Thanks for opening another window into the past.
A new friend and fan, Robin
I am on page 135 of AMETHYST. I am enjoying it very much. Congrats on writing such a good book.
I swear this is my given name. Haven't read the book yet, but can't wait.

Is it october yet... :)
I have throughly enjoyed your first work, but I was sad to have to finish it. I can not wait for Emerald to be released!!!
I got a letter from you today at my bookstore "Basically Books" in Cedar Rapids, Ia. I was excited to hear from a new author and glad you heard good things about our store and the fact that we are EXTREMELY romance friendly. I am looking forward to reading the excerpt from your books "Amethyst". We post cover flats on the wall behind the counter, we get from authors and publishers we order from directly. If you would like to send us a cover flat or a poster or anything we can post for our customers to see we will gladly post it. Thanks for contacting us.
Bobbie
I can't wait to start reading your book! It will be the first Romance Novel that I have ever read! I will post another message when I am finished reading it.
You are a naughty, naughty girl, making me read that excerpt. I wasn't going to buy your book, because I don't really care for the time period, but after reading the excerpt for the contest, I'm going to have to get it. It is sooo good!! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of it.
Hi Lauren! I saw your new book announcement on the Romance announce and just stopped in to wish you well. Your site is really nice and I hope your book sells a million copies!
Your book in now on my "to buy" list! The plot is a draw for me, plus the cover art is lovely.
Good Luck, Carole
Dear Lauren I am right in the middle of Amethyst and thoroughly enjoying it. I only wish that someone would write a book that explains what the clothing in some of the historical romances include. Some of the names elude discription.
Congratulations on your wonderful book, which I received today. Looks like I shall be burning the midnight oil until I finish it!!
Jane xxxx
Those recipes look delicious. I read the first chapter of your book here on-line and the story line sound great. I can't wait to start your book. I'm also looking forward to the people & places for your other 2 books.
Dear Lori, I haven't the words to express my awe at the quality of your writing. I'm only halfway through "Amethyst" (just past the shoot-out in the hotel) and I can hardly believe how well you write. It's almost unbelievable.

I am so excited about the release of this book. My copy is ordered and on its way!
congratulations--of course i'll want a signed copy.
My dear, this is a gorgeous page! I'm impressed! I also wish you much success with your new book. Perhaps the next one should be set in Glasgow, hmmm?
About time I wandered over here. Loved the Ad in RT, and of course we've been waiting for this day. Hope the UPS truck has arrived and I look forward to reading your book. all the best gail
Lori, congratulations to you on your initial debut! I believe this is going to be your "royal" year!! It will be my pleasure to purchase and help promote your book. You go, girl!!!......Carol
I just read about Amethyst in Romantic Times. I'll be picking it up when I make my weekly trip to the bookstore. If they don't have it in, I'll order it!
I am so excited to read this book! You are an awesome writer and I know that you will put all other romance novellists to shame. :) YAY!
I read about Amethyst in the RT magazine and immediately ordered it online. I love reading romance novels and reading about 17th century England. It is very rare that I can find a combination of the two. The Restoration period is sadly, and suprisingly, neglected in the romance genre. Glad to see that you are changing this. I look forward to reading Amethyst just as soon as it is available.
WHAT A GREAT WEBSITE. We are looking forward to reading Amethyst. We wish you the best of luck and much success. It couldn't happen to a nicer person.

PS what's a book plate? (I'm so out of it...)
I am very impressed by your talent and going forward with it. I wish you all the success that you truly disserve. Love, Sharynn
I simply love the website and all the cool stuff on it. After reading the prologue and the first chapter I cannot help but wish that tomorrow was February 7th and the book would be published. Now I just hope the book will be sold here in Demnark (Scandinavia). From your biggest fan.
The site looks great! I just know your book is going to be, as they say in England, "A smashing success! Smashing!!!"
