Feuersturm (When an Earl Meets a Girl)

[Cover of Feuersturm]
Publisher
Cora Verlag
Released
March 2001
Lauren's Notes
The title means Fire Storm, and I've been told that Kendra's name was changed to Alice, and Ford's name was changed to Allan!

Sturmnacht (How to Undress a Marquess)

[Cover of Sturmnacht]
Publisher
Cora Verlag
Released
August 2001
Lauren's Notes
The title means Storm Night, and if you're wondering why Cait's hand is whiter than Jason's shirt, she's wearing a glove.

Geraubtes Herz (A Duke's Guide to Seducing His Bride)

[Cover of Geraubtes Herz]
Publisher
Cora Verlag
Released
August 2002
Lauren's Notes
The title means The Stolen Heart—I was sure it would be another storm title, but I guess there's no second-guessing publishers! Interesting that Trick's hair is black when he's blond in the story (unless they changed that—since I can't read German, I don't know!). It is a pretty cover, though.

Träume unter Sternen (Never Doubt a Viscount)

[Cover of Träume unter Sternen]
Publisher
Cora Verlag
Released
December 2004
Lauren's Notes
The title means Dreams Under the Stars. They got the hair colors and clothing right on this one, but (why is there always a but?) Ford and Kendra are called Ford and Kendra in this book, even though the same characters were called Allan and Alice in all of my other German translations!

Das geraubte Herz (another edition of A Duke's Guide to Seducing His Bride)

[Cover of Das geraubte Herz]
Publisher
Mira-Taschenbuch
Released
May 2005
Lauren's Notes
The title (again) means The Stolen Heart. Don't get me started on the cover of this one! Although the book is set in the Restoration, the hero looks vaguely Viking, the heroine medieval, and they both have black hair—even though in the book he's a blond and she's a redhead. ACK!

Der Himmel auf Erden (The Scandal of Lord Randal)

[Cover of Der Himmel auf Erden]
Publisher
Cora Verlag
Released
July 2005
Lauren's Notes
The title means Heaven on Earth. The hair colors are wrong—Rand's should be dark blond and Lily's should be dark brown. But the clothing's okay. Not bad overall!

Verführung im Mondschein (A Gentleman's Plot to Tie the Knot)

[Cover of Verführung im Mondschein]
Publisher
Cora Verlag
Released
February 2006
Lauren's Notes
The title means Seduction in Moonlight. The hair isn't too far off (for once!) but the clothing is way out of period. Kit's especially—he looks more like Robin Hood than a 17th century architect! I was very happy to see that this book was printed as a Historical Gold Extra, the publisher's top line.

Das Landhaus an der Themse (another edition of The Scandal of Lord Randal)

[Cover of Das Landhaus an der Themse]
Publisher
Mira-Taschenbuch
Released
December 2006
Lauren's Notes
The title means Country House on the Thames. They got the hair colors more or less right this time, but Lily's dress is all wrong (and ugly to boot…and look at that waist! It's narrower than Barbie's!). And I'm sorry, but they just don't look like Rand and Lily to me. At all. Oh, well. These editions are really nicely packaged with very high quality covers, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Dutch

Jeugdige charme (If You Dared to Love a Laird)

[Cover of Jeugdige charme]
Publisher
Audax Publishing
Released
2001
Lauren's Notes
The title means Youthful Charm, and my story, If You Dared to Love a Laird, is called Voor Altijd…I wouldn't want to try to pronounce that!
